The paving company is one of the first to offer this revolutionary, cloud-based inspection tool to customers across the country. Drone Photography Captures Completed Job Site Photos

Check out these amazing aerial photos taken of a job Atlantic Southern Paving completed at a Kmart in Kearney, NJ!

This 152,000-square foot parking lot received a 2-inch mill, which is the removal of the top 2 inches of the lot, followed by an overlay. An overlay, in this case, was the laying down of new asphalt. The job also involved striping which, as you can see, turned out great! This parking lot revamp also included ADA modifications at an M&D Bank, a free-standing building on Kmart’s property.  

How did we get such great shots? Drone photography! Drone and aerial photography offers a better perspective from the sky because the higher elevation is better able to capture just how large the landscape is. This type of photography is growing in popularity within the construction and real estate industries.

A Giant Among Men

Our very own Gordon Young, Sales Manager at Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating, was named Associate Member of the Year for the BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches region at the 2016 TOBY Awards. This annual awards ceremony took place on Friday, November 4 at the Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa in Manalapan, FL.

The TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Awards is put on by BOMA* (Building Owners & Managers Association), a commercial real estate organization. This program recognizes property managers in more than 10 different categories for outstanding performance in building and building management.

BOMA refers to property managers as members, and vendors of the organization, such as Gordon, as associate members. Each year, one associate member wins the title of Associate Member of the Year for their participation, event attendance, and overall contribution within BOMA.

Long before his win, Gordon signed on as a 2016 TOBY co-chair, along with Michelle Horn from CBRE/Asset Services. He was also a part of the Judging Committee. Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating was also a sponsor of this prestigious event.

BOMA’s version of the Oscars had approximately 400 real estate professionals dressed to the nines while enjoying an evening of glitz, glamour, and old Florida charm at a reception, dinner/awards presentation, and after-hours party.
