Our very own Gordon Young, Sales Manager at Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating, was named Associate Member of the Year for the BOMA Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beaches region at the 2016 TOBY Awards. This annual awards ceremony took place on Friday, November 4 at the Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa in Manalapan, FL.

The TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Awards is put on by BOMA* (Building Owners & Managers Association), a commercial real estate organization. This program recognizes property managers in more than 10 different categories for outstanding performance in building and building management.

BOMA refers to property managers as members, and vendors of the organization, such as Gordon, as associate members. Each year, one associate member wins the title of Associate Member of the Year for their participation, event attendance, and overall contribution within BOMA.

Long before his win, Gordon signed on as a 2016 TOBY co-chair, along with Michelle Horn from CBRE/Asset Services. He was also a part of the Judging Committee. Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating was also a sponsor of this prestigious event.

BOMA’s version of the Oscars had approximately 400 real estate professionals dressed to the nines while enjoying an evening of glitz, glamour, and old Florida charm at a reception, dinner/awards presentation, and after-hours party.

Congratulations team! Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating ranked #72 on the 2016 South Florida Business Journal list: Florida Fast 100!!! This is the third time our company has made the list of the fastest 100 growing private companies in Florida; between 2013 and 2015, ASP showed 92.38% growth!

The financial data is obtained by research directors in four Florida markets – Orlando, Jacksonville, South Florida, and Tampa – and the results are based on a two-year revenue growth. The list reflects the diversity of the businesses throughout our state.

ASP Bleeds Red, White and Blue in Tribute to 9/11 First Responders

Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating team members participated in the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk this past Saturday, September 10. Held in various cities across the country, our team got their hearts racing at Huizenga Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The annual event pays tribute to the first responders who lost their lives or who were injured while fighting for our country on 9/11. This year marks the 15^th anniversary of this tragic day in history.

We met up with the organization Team RWB (Red White & Blue). Their mission is to connect America’s veteran’s to the community through physical and social activities.

All proceeds from the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk go to The Steven Siller Foundation.

Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating Ranked Among 50 Fastest Growing Companies in South Florida

This morning, Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating issued a press release announcing its position on the 2016 South Florida Business Journal’s list of the 50 fastest-growing private companies in South Florida. A 92.3% growth earned the paving company the number 12 spot. A four-year veteran on the list, this is the first time they’ve appeared in the ‘Annual Revenue over $25 Million’ category.

Another publication also acknowledged the company’s performance. 2016 marks the fourth time Atlantic Southern Paving has made the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Coming in at 2,469, they are part of an elite group of companies across the country to display such consistent growth.

South Florida Business Journal also recognized Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating for a second award. The paving company was ranked number 78 on this year’s list of the Top Private Companies in South Florida.
